As a Student Advisor, you will oversee and nurture the student relationship from the enrolment application process through to graduation, ensuring a seamless and supportive journey for those pursuing postgraduate degrees with our university partner.
Your role begins with engaging warm leads from prospective students, conducting phone-based interviews to understand their needs and objectives, and assessing their suitability for the course in alignment with their academic and career goals.
Leveraging your proven relationship-building and sales skills, you will independently manage a pipeline of student inquiry leads, driving enrolments to meet set targets while ensuring students receive the support they need throughout their journey to graduation.
Upon joining, you will undergo a comprehensive three-day onboarding program, followed by ongoing training and support throughout your employment. This includes a dedicated buddy system, continuous sales training, and access to additional learning resources.
Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM. However, as part of the Student Advisor team, you will work on a rotational schedule, which may include occasional late shifts or weekend shifts.

Key accountabilities include the following :
Achieve or exceed recruitment and retention KPIs.Conduct necessary outbound outreach to prospective students, identifying their needs and future goals.Utilize a consultative sales approach to inform and educate students.Independently manage a pipeline of students at various stages of the application process.Respond to student inquiries via email, chat, and other communication channels.Drive enrolment conversions by effectively nurturing leads.Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective students on campus or onsite.Build strong relationships with prospective students, fostering trust and positive decision-making.Ensure an excellent student experience by providing ongoing support from enrolment to graduation.Seamlessly execute physical and virtual events, including Open Days, Postgraduate Days, and other enrolment-driven activities.Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree or higherExperience
1-2 years of experience in student enrolment, telemarketing, contact centre, or a similar sales environmentPassion for relationship-building, customer service, and salesProficient in consultative sales techniques with a proven sales or contact centre backgroundSelf-starter with a results-driven mindset and a strong drive to exceed targetsDemonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs with a proven track recordEnergetic, fast learner, and a collaborative team playerExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong interest in business development and relationship-buildingCuriosity and eagerness to expand knowledge and conduct research, including staying informed on competitor offeringsDetail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
