Job description

Key Responsibilities :

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interviewing, and coordination with hiring managers

Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a positive new hire experience

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns

Support initiatives to improve employee engagement, morale, and retention

3. HR Operations & Administration

Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation

Administer HR systems leave management, performance tracking) and ensure data accuracy

4. Performance Management

Assist in implementing performance management cycles, including goal-setting, mid-year and year-end reviews

Support managers and employees in understanding performance expectations and feedback processes

5. Compensation & Benefits

Coordinate payroll input and liaise with payroll vendors

Administer employee benefits and support annual compensation review exercises

6. Learning & Development

Identify training needs and assist in coordinating learning programs

Maintain records of training attendance and feedback

7. Compliance & Policy Development

Ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal HR policies

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and communicating HR policies and procedures

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a fast-paced or SME environment

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
