Information Security Engineer, Financial Technology (Kuala Lumpur)

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of security systems across the organization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security protocols align with risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with IT & Application teams on threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and incident response activities.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across systems and applications, and ensure prompt response.
• Evaluate existing security systems and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with security frameworks and certification requirements; support the re-certification process in coordination with external assessors.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security procedures, incidents, and configurations.
• Stay updated on the latest threats and recommend relevant security enhancements.
