Purpose
This role is an integral part of the Digital Crewing Team supporting Wilhelmsen Ship Management’s digital transformation of crewing activities. This role will support the Digital Crewing Manager in overseeing aspects of enhancement changes to the applications and process improvements in the various regions. The person must be willing to take on new challenges, a strong determination to succeed and a passion to support internal stakeholders to succeed in their business goals.
Interrelations
The position reports to Digital Crewing Manager and will work closely with all team members in Digital Crewing, Marine Personnel, IT, Accounting, Finance and Procurement department as well as external application vendors.
Formal authorities
The Project Analyst will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support, specifically focusing on the COMPAS crew management system. Access to crewing system administration and configuration and provide support on system aspects of business processes.
Main responsibilities and tasks
Elicit, analyse, document, and manage detailed functional and non-functional requirements for COMPAS enhancements, new features, and integrations.
Support in developing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans
Coordinate tasks and activities between different teams (vendor, GBS IT, Vessel IT, business users, etc.) involved in COMPAS projects.
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for COMPAS functionalities based on documented requirements, and co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing
Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for the COMPAS application with the support of subject matter experts, including user guides, process flows, and system configurations.
Accountabilities
This position is accountable for carrying out tasks assigned by the Digital Transformation Project Manager related to requirements analysis, solution design, to-be process development, change management
The position is accountable for resolving digital crewing incidents related to the enhancements implemented through projects
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Data Science.
Ability to cooperate with all the levels in the organization as well as external stakeholders.Ability to interact mindfully and cooperate efficiently within a global intercultural team. Proficient in English, spoken and written
Generally posessing good digital awareness, i.e. how digital technologies are changing the businesses
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand new systems
Proficient in English, spoken and written

Experience in developing process flows, either in MS Visio or other similar software
Experience from the maritime industry, is an advantage
Experience in crewing process areas, including business applications and process improvement initiatives.
