We are seeking a culturally-intelligent Business Development Manager to spearhead our Publisher Growth initiatives in Malaysia's dynamic digital landscape. This strategic role focuses on building meaningful, long-term partnerships with Malaysian digital publishers and mobile app developers through our relationship-first approach. You will be instrumental in establishing AnyManager.io as the preferred growth partner for Malaysia's diverse publishing ecosystem, from large media conglomerates to innovative digital-first platforms.
What You'll Do
- Relationship-Centric Business Development : Prioritize trust-building and cultural sensitivity in all prospect interactions, understanding that Malaysian business culture values relationship establishment before transactional discussions
- Market Intelligence : Develop deep expertise in Malaysia's digital publishing landscape, including major players and emerging digital-first publishers
- Publisher Advisory Role : Serve as a strategic consultant to publishers facing monetization challenges, post-cookie adaptation, and competitive pressures in Malaysia's saturated digital market
- Value-First Engagement : Lead every interaction with market insights, industry benchmarks, and actionable recommendations before introducing AnyManager solutions
- Localised Solution Design : Understand unique challenges faced by Malaysian publishers (regulatory compliance, multilingual content needs, regional advertiser demands) and position AnyManager's integrated platform accordingly
- Integrated Platform Positioning : Articulate AnyManager's unique value proposition as an all-in-one analytics, monetization, and growth platform versus point solutions like Google Ad Manager or local competitors.
- Multi-Touch Relationship Cycles : Execute patient, multi-channel engagement strategies recognizing that Malaysian B2B decisions often require extended relationship-building periods
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work seamlessly with Account Executives to ensure culturally-nuanced handoffs and maintain relationship continuity throughout the sales process
Who You Are
2 to 4 years of Business Development or Sales experience, ideally within a Digital Marketing Agency, Tech Company, or other relevant solution or service-based industry.Proven track record in relationship-driven B2B sales, with ability to navigate longer sales cycles and complex stakeholder environmentsExcellent English communication skills (mandatory); Fluency in Bahasa Melayu strongly preferred; Mandarin or Tamil advantageous for specific market segmentsExceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport across diverse cultural and linguistic backgroundsStrong presentation and business writing capabilities, with ability to craft culturally-appropriate proposals and communicationsPreferably experience in Online Advertising, Google Advertising products, Ad Network, Ad ExchangesWhy You'll Love It
