Penerangan pekerjaanOperate a van to pick up and deliver packages efficiently and safely within the designated Johor area. Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery schedules, considering traffic conditions and delivery time windows. Load and unload packages from the van, ensuring proper handling and secure placement to prevent damage during transit. Verify the accuracy of delivery addresses and recipient information before each delivery to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations, recipient signatures, and any delivery exceptions or issues encountered. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition, and report any maintenance needs promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the van, prioritizing the safety of yourself, other road users, and the packages being transported. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and courteously with recipients, addressing any delivery inquiries or concerns, and ensuring a positive delivery experience. Requirements
- Possess a valid Malaysian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar van courier or delivery role, specifically within the Johor area.
- Familiarity with Johor area roads, landmarks, and traffic patterns to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
- Proven ability to effectively plan delivery routes, considering factors such as distance, traffic conditions, and delivery schedules.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize deliveries and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact effectively with customers and the dispatch team.
- Must hold a Secondary / SPM / 'O' Level certificate as a minimum educational qualification.
- Ability to operate and maintain a delivery van in good working condition, including performing basic vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery van.
