Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning & Execution :
- Develop and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform product assortment.
Product Development & Assortment Planning :
Work with the design team to create product assortments that align with brand vision and market demands.Oversee the lifecycle of product collections, from concept through to final launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.Inventory Management :
Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize excess inventory.Monitor sales performance and adjust inventory strategies to meet changing market conditions.Sales & Performance Analysis :
Analyze sales data and KPIs to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.Prepare and present regular reports on product performance, market trends, and merchandising effectiveness.Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and enhance product visibility.Work closely with supply chain and production teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of merchandising plans.Vendor & Supplier Management :
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.Negotiate terms and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.Team Leadership :
Mentor and guide junior merchandisers, providing support and professional development opportunities.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Language Requirement :
Fluency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking teams and stakeholders.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Fashion, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in merchandising, with a focus on sports or fashion retail.Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and inventory management.Proven ability to develop and execute successful merchandising strategies.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights.Fluency in Mandarin is required.Proficiency in merchandising software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.How to Apply :
