Maintenance Manager (Haulage Workshop)

Requirements

• To incharge overall Workshop & Maintenance Department for both Nilai, Negeri Sembilan & Westport, Pulau Indah Branch.
• Candidate must possess at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related working experience preferable with experience in leading a team of workshop personnel (foreman, tyreman & etc).
• Proven experience in repairing and servicing of trucks.
• Attention to detail, strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :

1. To supervise workshop department including maintenance of prime mover and trailers, tyres and spare-parts, vehicle welding etc.

2. Handling outside project shunting trucks and trailer maintenance repair.

3. 24 hours standby on call for outdoor breakdown.

4. To arrange and monitor outdoor trucks repairs and purchase of spare parts.

5. Controlling monthly budget for spare-parts, tyres and maintenance cost.

6. Dealing and cooperating with operation department on trucks usage and driver controlling as well.

7. To assist Safety Dept on yard, warehouse, workshop and Security.

8. Planning and suggesting on project trucks usage with management.

9. Controlling trucks down time and try to reduce maintenance cost.

10. To attend Puspakom & JPJ Inspection

11. To monitor and ensure prime mover and trailers is always in good conditions.

12. To ensure that repairs of vehicle is done within time period.

13. To supervise all workshop operations process.

14. To conduct regular inspection on vehicles to detect and resolve problems, plan all repairs and installation activities.

15. Preparing reports as requested and required by the management.

16. To ensure all stocks of spare parts recorded and keeping properly.

17. Any other jobs related which assigned by HOD.
