About the Role :

Join our dynamic procurement team at Brooks as a Buyer in the fast-paced semiconductor industry! We are looking for a dedicated professional to support our Greenfield manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru, Malaysia (and potentially our other sites across Asia).

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring essential materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components. You will be responsible for analyzing market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions, driving competitive advantage and securing high-quality materials for the site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the semiconductor industry (ideal, but not mandatory), with a proven track record of effective supplier management and cost-efficient purchasing strategies. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for supply chain management, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards for materials and services.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring performance and addressing any issues as they arise.
• Track and manage stock levels and optimizing inventory to meet demand, using inventory management systems
• Ensure purchase prices meet organizational requirements.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify potential opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Negotiate minimum order quantity (MOQ) pricing with suppliers.
• Reschedule in & out requirements as driven by the ERP system
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
• Any other duties as assigned.
