Requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in account management or a similar role, preferably within the hardware or retail industry.
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is essential to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Willingness to work onsite in Kuala Lumpur and adapt to the company's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact and building strong, long-term relationships.Understand clients' business needs and objectives, proactively identifying opportunities to provide value-added accounting and tax solutions.Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on a range of accounting and tax matters, including tax planning, compliance, and reporting.Monitor client accounts to ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and regulations, proactively addressing any potential issues or risks.Collaborate with internal teams, such as tax specialists and auditors, to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients.Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and tax laws, and communicate these changes to clients in a clear and concise manner.Assist in the development of new business proposals and presentations, showcasing the firm's expertise and capabilities.Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating complex accounting and tax concepts to non-technical audiences.Maintain accurate and complete client records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.Benefits
