Fast-growing regional business with exposure to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan 💼 Role Overview As a Senior Sales and Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving distribution and sales of Japanese products across general trade, modern trade, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and online platforms. This includes building retail partnerships, managing distributor relationships, and developing channel-specific strategies to accelerate growth and brand visibility in Malaysia. 🔧 Key Responsibilities 🛒 Channel Sales and Partnership Development
Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and online platforms
Expand brand presence across general trade, modern trade, hypermarkets, minimarkets, and e-commerce
Negotiate trade terms, promotions, and product placements with buyers and trade partners 📊 Sales Planning and Execution
Develop annual and quarterly sales targets by channel and region
Monitor sell-in / sell-out data and analyze channel performance
Execute product launches, seasonal promotions, and trade marketing activities 🤝 Key Account and Distributor Management
Build strong relationships with modern trade buyers (Aeon, Lotus’s, TF Value-Mart, etc.)
Coordinate with distributors for inventory, POSM, pricing, and payment collection
Ensure proper coverage, visibility, and in-store execution 📈 Business Development and Market Insights
Identify new market opportunities for Japanese product lines (FMCG, FandB, household)
Work closely with the sourcing and marketing team to align supply and brand messaging

Requirements
Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Knowledge of Japanese products (FandB / FMCG / Household)
3–6 years experience in Sales or Trade Marketing
Existing relationships with key retailers / distributors
Experience in GT, MT, or e-commerce sales
Familiar with channel-specific pricing and promotions
Strong negotiation, presentation and networking skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
Able to travel locally for store / distributor visits
