Job Description :

The Role : Specialist, Shared Services, AR

We are looking for a results-driven and proactive Collections Specialist to manage our accounts receivable portfolio for the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for minimizing bad debt , improving cash flow, and maintaining strong customer relationships across a diverse environment.

What You’ll Do :

Proactively m onitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payments of outstanding invoices.

Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions .

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment disputes, and other issues by collaborating with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service.

Prepare and present regular reports on collections activities, aged debt analysis, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and at-risk accounts for assigned region.

Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts to ensure all payments are accurately applied and discrepancies are identified .

Able to i dentify potential bad debt accounts and escalate them to the Collections Manager according to company policy. Assist in assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

Ensure all collection activities are compliant with local regulations and company policies across different EMEA countries.

Participate in ad-hoc projects, reporting, and analysis as required by the finance leadership team, including support for month-end close and audit requests.

What We Seek :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

3–5 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable

Willingness and ability to work EMEA hours (2 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM M alaysia Time Zone )

Demonstrated success in managing collections, preferably within the EMEA region

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus

Fluent in English; proficiency in additional EMEA languages is an advantage

Outstanding Candidates Will Have :

Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment

Familiarity with regional compliance and financial regulations

Track record of improving collection processes or reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
