Requirements
- Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Advanced Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrate fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting / finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Skilled in preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
- Ability to perform financial analysis and provide insightful recommendations.
- Experience in budget preparation and management.
- Proficient in using accounting software.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and a passion for collaborative teamwork.
- Able to prepare a full set of accounts.
Responsibilities
As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and administering accounting systems for individuals and organizations. You will leverage your expertise to examine and analyze accounting and financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and stability of our clients and organization.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.Perform monthly and annual closing processes, including bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and variance analysis.Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Analyze financial data and provide insights to support better decision-making.Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, including analyzing expenditures and recommending cost-saving measures.Ensure compliance with all tax reporting and regulatory requirements, including preparation and filing of tax returns.Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit and provide required documentation.Develop and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective financial control.Provide support to other departments on financial and accounting-related matters.Benefits
