Job Description
Spearhead the full lifecycle of new product development; from ideation, market analysis, and concept validation to final commercialization.
Interpret market trends and consumer insights to recommend strategic product positioning and innovative pipelines.
Review and consolidate clinical studies, scientific publications, and technical data to support ingredient selection and substantiate product efficacy.
Collaborate with regional NPD teams to explore bulk-sharing opportunities and manage MPEC submissions for profit and loss evaluations.
Oversee project timelines and deliverables, including the preparation of bilingual product fact sheets and marketing collateral.
Perform ongoing market research to ensure product competitiveness and alignment with current industry developments.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements by managing label development, claims verification, and relevant documentation.
Cultivate and maintain partnerships with contract manufacturers to identify and pursue potential business growth opportunities.
Provide technical expertise and support to Marketing and Sales teams on product-related queries and initiatives.
Mentor and support junior team members to promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development.
Solid knowledge of formulation, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics, preferably within the health supplements or pharmaceutical industries.
Strong project management abilities, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, resourceful, and adept at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
