We are seeking for an experienced Pre-Sales Lead / Manager to spearhead our cloud architecture team, shape winning solutions for clients, and drive Strateq’s growth in the cloud space. This pivotal role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen - you will lead our cloud architecture team in designing winning solutions while playing a key role in our sales engagements. The ideal candidate is a cloud expert with a passion for pre-sales, capable of translating complex technical concepts into compelling business value. If you are a natural leader who excels at stakeholder engagement, solution design, and team mentorship, we want to hear from you!  Key Responsibilities -Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud architects, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and resources needed to deliver high-quality solutions. -Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback. -Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, to increase team productivity annually. -Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to ensure the team remains at the forefront of cloud technologies. -Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments. -Ensure all cloud architecture projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, achieving at least 90% on-time delivery rate. -Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or risks that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and deliverables. -Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, engineering, operations) to ensure alignment and successful project execution. -Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks, ensuring 100% compliance with security and regulatory requirements. -Review and approve all major cloud architecture decisions, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals. -Achieve a 25% reduction in cloud-related costs through optimized architecture and resource management. -Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on cloud initiatives and their impact on business outcomes. -Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure cloud solutions meet client needs and drive revenue growth. -Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, achieving a 95% client satisfaction rate. -Ensure the cloud architecture team delivers projects on time and within budget, achieving a 90% on-time delivery rate. -Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring 99.9% uptime and adherence to SLAs. -Implement incident and disaster recovery processes. -Drive continuous improvement initiatives, for annual reduction in operational inefficiencies. -Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring the organization remains competitive in the market. -Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and methodologies that enhance the organization’s cloud capabilities. Key Requirements -Possesses a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. -Holds relevant cloud certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Fellow). Additional certifications in project management or leadership (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are advantageous. -Requires a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership capacity, overseeing teams of cloud architects or engineers. -Exhibits the ability to motivate, guide, and nurture high-achieving teams. -Demonstrates robust strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, able to balance technical needs with business objectives. -Possesses outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for influencing at all organizational levels. -Requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with proficiency in private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). -Has a thorough knowledge of cloud architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework, TOGAF) and tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker). -Demonstrated history of designing and implementing secure, large-scale, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. -Strong expertise in cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices. -This position is exclusively available to Malaysian nationals only.
