Solution Software Engineer

Note : This is a remote work position. We are looking for a person that will be able to work in a team to architect Joget solutions for our customers and partners. If you are new to Joget DX, it is a new and next generation open source low-code platform for faster, simpler digital transformation (DX). Joget DX combines the best of process automation, workflow management and no-code / low-code application development in a simple, flexible and open platform. More info about Joget DX at www.joget.com / joget-dx and community.joget.org.  As a Joget Solution Software Engineer, you should be able to quickly learn and pick up new technologies easily, and at the same time possesses the technical history, background and experience to which you will leverage and draw on to craft Joget solutions to meet the customers' needs. The solution software engineer's job scope are as follows : -Work with a team of solution software engineers in the Joget Solution Department. -Love to code, play and learn new technologies. -Will be required to work with the Product RandD, Marketplace, Customer Success and Sales team to design and architect Joget solutions to meet customers' needs. -Conduct RandD and occasionally build POCs. -Be part of the team to grow Joget’s ecosystem through development of connectors / plugins with third party systems. -Create Joget apps for various business use cases / verticals to showcase Joget platform capabilities. -Publish the plugins, apps and solutions in the Joget Marketplace (marketplace.joget.com) [Apply now at https : / / my.hiredly.com / jobs / jobs-malaysia-joget-technology-sdn-bhd-joget-inc-job-solution-software-engineer]

You should possess the following skills and background : -Very comfortable in Java programming and using Java technology for web-based applications, preferably in Apache Maven, Spring and Hibernate. -Master level knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. -Excellent database and SQL skills, especially MySQL. Other highly desirable skills -Experience with Joget DX or similar products. -Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks. -Experience in working in an agile development environment. -Experience working with remote teams. -Experience with subversion or git, continuous integration and deployment tools. -Experience with unit testing. -Experience with secure coding practices. -Experience working with different OS and cloud platforms. -Experience in mobile Android or IOS development. As part of the on-boarding process for new Joget DX users, we will provide a 1 month period for intensive Joget DX training on Joget Academy and also self-learning from the Joget Knowledge base.
