Penerangan pekerjaanSource and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times Create and process purchase orders based on stock levels and forecasted demand Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely arrival of goods Coordinate with warehouse and retail teams to track inventory flow and ensure stock availability Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier database Work closely with merchandising team to align purchase plans with product trends Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements to procurement processes Handle returns, defective goods, and supplier performance evaluations SOCSO Annual & Medical Leave Bonus Staff Discount
Requirements
- 0 to 1 year of purchasing experience is fine, preferably in retail or lifestyle product industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiar with inventory and stock management processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, purchasing systems, and basic reporting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple suppliers and product categories
- Able to work independently and under tight timelines
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt and learn
- Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English
