Compa ny Background :

The company is a prominent provider of sensory experience solutions with expertise in various core technologies including semiconductor. The company is located in Senai, Johor. Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide daily, on-site and remote support for (MES, SFC, QDM, IOT) for overseas factory (Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, India)
Diagnose and resolve issues in MS SQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases; tune queries, manage backups, and coordinate with DBAs for performance improvements.
Provide IT support for production databases troubleshooting
Assist China IT to troubleshoot, bug fix application / database error
Assist the wider IT team (network, desktop, infrastructure) as workload requires.
Participate in overseas factory setup project.
May need to travel to regional office for onsite support
Help out with other IT support role if needed (10‐20%)

REQUIREMENT

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2-4 years hands-on experience supporting MES / SFC applications in a manufacturing environment

Solid troubleshooting skills with MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle (query optimization, stored procedures, backups).

Mandarin-reading skill to interface smoothly with China IT documentation.

Possess a pro‐active attitude towards end users and a good working attitude

Familiarity with production hardware (barcode printers, scanners, label printers).

Ability to work independently and in a team

Report to IT Manager (based in Singapore)

Working hours : 8.30am-5.30pm (5 days works)

Salary Range : RM5k -RM8k

Benefits : AWS (13th month payment)
