Main duties and responsibilities
- Overseeing multiple projects and managing the interdependencies among them
- Providing strategic guidance to the project managers and implementation managers
- Align deliverables of projects to the programme’s outcome
- Manage risks, cost and issues and take corrective measurements
- Manage activities of Project Managers and Technical Implementation Managers (i.e., hires, trains, coaches, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
- Build and foster high performance teams, ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful programme delivery through oversight.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with external (e.g., primary interface with the client program leadership) and internal key stakeholders / customers across groups and / or business units to maximize effectiveness and influence.
- Drives continuous improvement of the Project Delivery processes as it relates to Programme and Project Management practices; stays informed of industry developments and best practices, and champions the adoption and integration into the Project Delivery process
- Managing communications with all stakeholders

The holder of the position reports to a Head of Technology & Operations for Added Value Payment Solution in Global Blue.The holder of the position manages and works daily with Project Managers and Technical Implementation ManagersThe holder of the position collaborates with the Technical Architect, Software Engineering Team, Business Units and the Commercial organizationsKey competencies
