As the CIAM Operations Engineer, your primary responsibility will involve overseeing and maintaining our external Identity solution on a full-time basis. Within this position, you'll uphold the solution's integrity and accessibility, manage change management activities, and collaborate closely with application teams to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Here's a condensed overview of your expected duties :

  • Assess and validate new features developed by the engineering team, along with ensuring the smooth integration of product updates during UAT.
  • Execute the deployment of new features and platform upgrades in both UAT and PROD environments, which may necessitate occasional off-hours work and standby support for PROD deployments.
  • Offer assistance to application teams during UAT procedures.
  • Handle incident management and change management tasks efficiently, including the submission and closure of CRs.
  • Continuously monitor the health and performance metrics of the CIAM solution.
  • Provide on-call support outside regular business hours on a rotational basis.
  • Promptly escalate any critical issues to the engineering team for resolution.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Possess at least 5 years of overall experience, demonstrating a solid grasp of Identity and Access Management principles, including :

    • oIdentity lifecycle management

    oUnderstanding of Identity data models

    oAccess management

    oFamiliarity with Authentication, SSO and MFA

    oKnowledge of Authorization principles

  • Have a minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in implementing and configuring the ForgeRock CIAM solution.
  • Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages or technologies :

    • oJava / JavaScript

    oGroovy

    oYAML

    oXML

    oRESTful APIs

    oGit

  • Experienced in authentication and federation technologies such as :

    • oSAML

    oOAuth 2.0

    oOpenID / OIDC

    oUMA 2.0

    oFIDO2

  • Highly desirable to have experience with DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Azure, AWS, or GCP, is highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge or experience in security testing is a plus.
  • Prior consulting experience would be beneficial.
  • Possession of security certification(s) is advantageous.
