Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead in benchmarking studies and research to determine latest thinking and external competitiveness with general market and comparator companies across the Group
- Assist the Head of Rewards & Performance Management in review of policies, guidelines and processes to ensure competitiveness and compliance (if relevant)
- Proactively taking part in ongoing communication, obtaining of feedback, maintaining and continuously improving on policies, guidelines and processes
- Assist the Head of Rewards & Performance Management in the drafting of NRC and Board papers.
- Reference point and subject matter expert in the areas of rewards and performance management matters to the divisional rewards managers across the Group.
- Establish and maintain relationships with representatives from leading companies and industry experts
- Drive the job evaluation framework and process across the Group. Conduct Job Evaluations for L1’s / Top Management for the Group.
- Manage the guaranteed compensation (salary, fixed allowances), variable compensation (performance bonus), benefits and perquisites, recognition programs, long-term incentive plan and International Mobility (expatriates / assignees) policies and framework.
- Work closely with the Leadership and Talent Development department to develop and implement talent retention programs.
- Support Group Employees Engagement program in the design and implementation of Rewards related action plans
- Coordinate, communicate and monitor with respective Divisions, the management and implementation of the Group’s Performance Management framework, procedures and activities.
- Assist in the implementation of Sime Darby’s Talent & Performance Management Framework from a performance management perspective.
- Manage and develop communication content and materials for performance related activities.
- Benchmark performance management practices within different companies and recommend improvement activities.
- Collaborate with Division HR representatives to ensure successful development, implementation and deployment of all Performance Management initiatives.
- Manage and be the focal point of reference for Comp, Advance Comp and Performance Management modules for Workday.
Skills and Experience
Degree in Human Resource, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or equivalentAt least 8 years’ experience in a human resource / management role (including at least 6 years in a Rewards specialist role)Strong analytical skill with good command of Microsoft Excel, Power Point Presentation and WordExposure to HR Systems will be an added advantageAbout us :
