1.Production Scheduling :
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts and customer orders.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure schedules are feasible and adjust as necessary for changes in demand or production capacity.
2.Inventory Management :
Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of materials to prevent production delays.3.Resource Allocation :
Allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively to maximize production efficiency.Identify and address bottlenecks or constraints in the production process.4.Data Analysis and Reporting :
Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, efficiency, and waste.5.Process Improvement :
Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards.6.Cross-functional Coordination :
Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Logistics, to ensure seamless operations and communication.Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with business objectives.7.Compliance and Safety :
Ensure all production activities comply with industry regulations and safety standards.Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production team.8.Team Leadership :
Provide leadership and guidance to juniorplanners and production staff.Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.Bachelor’s degree in production management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in the food or bakery manufacturing industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in production planning software (e.g., ERP systems).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.Working Conditions :
