Job Description :
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand and production capacity.
- Monitor and manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability for production.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to align material flow with production schedules.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure timely completion of production orders.
- Communicate with Sales and Customer Service teams to provide accurate delivery timelines and updates.
- Optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Manage and update planning parameters (e.g., lead time, lot size, safety stock).
- Review and adjust plans in response to changes in forecast, customer orders, or production capacity.
- Analyze planning KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and capacity utilization.
Job Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 24 years of experience in production planning or materials planning, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of MRP / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; experience with data analysis tools is an advantage.Familiar with production scheduling, inventory control, and supply chain processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage dynamic production demands.Good understanding of BOM (Bill of Materials), lead time planning, and capacity planning.Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) planning is a plus.
