Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, with at least 5 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Good understanding of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance across HR functions.
  • Experience in leading a team or handling payroll functions is highly valued.
  • Tech-savvy : Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems, with knowledge of AgathaeHR system being an advantage.
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to converse in Malay, Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing : Accurately and timely processing of payroll for all employees (retails & internal) including salaries, wages, deductions, annual, medical & unpaid leave.
  • Compliance : Ensuring compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data and financial transactions.
  • Reporting : Preparing and submitting required payroll reports and tax filings to director approval & finance department payment preparation.
  • Problem Solving : Resolving payroll-related queries, discrepancies, and issues promptly.
  • Communication : Communicating with employees, management teams, HR, director and finance teams regarding payroll matters.
  • Software Proficiency : Using payroll software and systems effectively.
  • Resignation Process : Guide resigning employees through the process of submitting necessary paperwork, such as resignation letters and clearance forms, and ensure timely processing of final payments and benefits.
