A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We are seeking a highly motivated and people-oriented individual to join the team as a Senior HR Executive. This role is critical within the business to ensure that our team members feel supported, engaged and connected within the community at The Flexi Group.
You will be working across different markets and various functions of human resources, with a key focus on payroll, recruitment, team files, compliance, and opportunities to be involved with corporate social responsibility, team engagement activities and to help develop those around you with training and coaching.

PAYROLL
- Prepare and process payroll accurately for Malaysia, The Philippines and Singapore following the payroll deadline.
- Calculate and process all deductions, bonuses and commissions based on information provided by managers in the team.
- Process tax according to the relevant market.
RECRUITMENT, SELECTION AND ONBOARDING
Work closely with hiring managers in your market to ensure that you understand and act accordingly to their hiring needs.Post job advertisements on relevant platforms.Screen and source candidates, assist with cultural fit first-round interviews and coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.Oversee candidates' recruitment journey, ensuring they are communicated with at a high level and always representing The Flexi Group’s core values from the start to the end of their recruitment journey.Oversee the onboarding process, complete relevant paperwork, and deliver a positive, supportive, and exciting experience.TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Assist with assigning and communicating training programmes to team members.Be part of discussions around the training needs and bring ideas to the table around training and development.TEAM ENGAGEMENT
Assist with developing ideas and organising Flexi Group activities and work events to engage the team and boost morale.Engage in country meetings to ensure you have a finger on the pulse of the team and business.Build relationships with team members to identify areas for improvement and address any issues that may impact the team, assist with communication difficulties, monitor the team's work-life balance, bring attention to the management team when recognition or specific conversations are required etc.HR ADMINISTRATION
Oversee the process of promotions, demotions, resignations, terminations and exit interviews alongside direct managers and the People team.Help update the Team Handbook with policies and procedures as and when required.Roll out company updates engagingly and provide an outlet for questions.Stay up to date with employment law in the countries you are supporting.Assist with day-to-day operations and duties of the People team.Oversee and be the point of contact for health insurance and ensure that renewal is completed on time with the support of the People team.Accurately manage and maintain team records and files.Process documentation and prepare reports when required.Support with employee queries and requests.Support managers with team grievances and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures with the support of the People team.WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER

One or more years of experience in a similar role in payroll and recruitmentBasic knowledge of Employment Law for Malaysia, the Philippines and SingaporePersonable with strong verbal and written communication; good listener and ability to build relationshipsExceptionally organised with the ability to multitaskThrives under pressure and solution-orientedUniversity Degree is an advantageProficient in basic computer skills and knowledge of ExcelAccountable and enjoys fast-paced working environmentsPrior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.Fluent in English, Chinese and Malay is a plusBenefits
