Digital Project Manager

Job Description

Work closely with the business team to execute projects within timelines and budget.

Manage business team expectations with regular reporting and explanation of requirements of analysis, specification, design of projects on a technical and nontechnical basis.

Identify and manage project risk and maintain project plan – There will be a dedicated project manager assigned to the digital project supporting this role.

Manage external contractors and in-house staff to ensure they produce on deadline.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with key contacts.

Work with project management team on improvements of digital systems.

Define and execute our digital strategy and solutions roadmap. This role will work closely with a cross-disciplinary team with a goal to drive digital adoption.

Continually drive products towards a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility.

Identifying and defining business and operational KPIs that would help Digital RGE to achieve digital goals and objectives.

Recommending tools and platforms that would help implement the defined use cases.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications :

Ability to operate in a start-up mentality and unstructured environment.

10+ years of experience working in the technology domain / working as tech project manager – at-least 2+ years of experience in managing projects in digital technologies (mobile / web / cloud / new technologies like AI, ML, Blockchain or others).

Strong experience / knowledge of core backend applications like SAP.

Experience working with system integrators in outsourced / offshore model.

Some knowledge and exposure working cloud platforms.

Outstanding collaboration, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in English a must. Bahasa and Mandarin knowledge will be advantageous.

Process manufacturing technology & system exposure for Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Palm Oil refining and Viscose Fibre Manufacturing will be a bonus.

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in instrumentation engineering / Mechanical engineering / Chemical engineering / Software engineering.
