Construction Site Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with safety and health regulations, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. Project Site Location : Elmina Business Park Hyperscale Data Centre Work Scope : -Earthwork Excavation -Installation of Pre Cast Box Culvert Drainage -Installation of Underground uPVC Pipes for Electric cables. -Installation of Underground HDPE Pipes for Telecom cables. -Reinforcement Bar installation for Manhole and Drainage Sump Pit -Formwork installation for Electric and Telecom Duct Banks, Manholes, and Drainage Sump Pit Qualifications : -Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role. -Strong understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles. -Excellent knowledge of safety and health regulations. -Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. -Strong leadership and organizational skills. -Excellent problem-solving abilities. -Good communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities : Safety and Health Compliance : -Adhere strictly to the Safety and Health rules established on site. -Ensure all subordinates, including all workers under your supervision, perform work tasks in accordance with the Safety and Health rules. Daily Pre-Task Briefing : -Prepare daily pre-task briefings in writing. -Brief all subordinates and workers under your supervision on the work scope for the day, potential hazards, and control and mitigation measures to eliminate or manage risks. Technical Understanding : -Read and understand drawings and method statements. -Execute work in accordance with the required Material and Workmanship specifications. Inspections and Problem Solving : -Carry out regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. -Resolve problems or issues on site promptly and effectively. Project Management : -Manage and execute work in a smooth and timely manner. -Attend site inspections with clients and QAQC personnel for approval. Attendance and Discipline : -Be punctual to work and maintain a good attendance and disciplinary record. -Ensure good attendance and disciplinary records of all subordinates and workers under your supervision. Company Compliance : -Comply with the company’s rules and regulations at all times. -Act in a manner that protects the company’s interests.
