Monitor and implement the company's safety management system to ensure compliance with the relevant statutory requirements and continuously improve the safety management system by conducting internal audits, awareness briefings, trainings and induction programs. -Responsible to ensure the applicable procedures and practices in accordance to the safety and health and environmental statutory acts / regulations. -Identify potential hazards, access the risks in company's premises and determining necessary control measures to assure employees safety. -To create a safety and health report that including recommend action plan to existing infrastructure, working procedure and practice for further improvement. -Liaise with government authorities such as DOSH, BOMBA, DOE and others on matters concerning with safety and health issues and ensure all report are submitted on time. -Undertakes project work or assignment or ad hoc job-related matters or any other duties as and when assigned / requested by the management from time to time. Candidates must possess at least in Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health / Environmental Science or its equivalent. -Must be registered as a Safety Officer with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)with valid license ( Green Book) -Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience and above working experiences as Safety Officer in the Construction industry -Good communication skills, time management and positive attitude
