Position Responsibilities - To organize out plant wide Halal Assurance Management System (HAS) and activities throughout overall process. - To be responsible for the company’s Halal application for Halal Certification. -To liaise with authorities (JAKIM / JAIN) for regular audit, enforcement audit and surveillance audit. -To liaise with various departments (e.g., production, quality assurance, procurement) to integrate Halal requirements into overall incoming until end procedure within organization. -To design and develop comprehensive training programs on Halal standards and requirements. - To coordinate and carry out Halal audit that involve overall Halal food premise scheme requirements and supervise corrective action for related non-conformance. -To evaluate and verify effectiveness of IHC. -To liaise with internal and external stakeholders (customers) on Halal related issues. - To perform Halal Training and other Halal activities as instructed by the company. - To ensure planned Halal Risk Management activities are being carried out effectively. - To establish “Sertu” cleansing procedures for any deviation which involves contamination from severe najs mughallazah. -To involve in supplier audit, warehouse and logistic controls or follow up visit if necessary. -To support management on Halal marketing activities across reviewing marketing materials, label, packaging, ingredients and formulation as instructed by company. -Ensure all raw materials and end products are complying MPPHM, GMP, GHP and Malaysia Food Act and Regulations. - To be responsible for : -Ensuring that HAS conforms to the requirements of applicable standards. -Ensuring product release and compilation of Halal traceability documents. -Reporting the performance of HAS and opportunities for improvement to top management. - Other Halal and food safety related task as per instructed by the company. Qualification and Experiences -Degree in Halal Management or Food Technologies (Food Science / Food Studies / Nutritions / Dietetic) or any related discipline. -A certified Halal Executive Professional Training from Halal Professional Board, JAKIM. -3 – 5 years of working experience as full-time Halal Executive in Halal food industry. (Experience in GMP, HACCP and ISO22000 is an advantage). - Good knowledge and skills in Halal or minimum 3-5 years working experience in a reputable food and beverage chain restaurant. -Good behavior and act in a manner that does not compromise his / her reputation nor impede during the audit process. -Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills with outstanding organizational and time-management skills. -Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay (Proficient in any other languages will be an added advantage). -Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. -Possess own transport and willing to travel. a Necessity, not a Luxury
