The company, from humble beginnings in 1985 as a small stall in a morning market, has grown into a fresh produce importer and retailer, operating a wholesale market in Klang with a diverse range of products.

Responsibilities :

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Obtain quotes and negotiate terms and conditions.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
Regularly visit the warehouse to inspect received items for damage, discrepancies, and quality.
Ensure that all received goods meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
Document and report any issues or discrepancies to the relevant departments.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
Work closely with the warehouse team to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Address supplier issues and resolve any disputes in a timely manner.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.

Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least a SPM.

Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement. Fresh Grads with good attitude will also be considered.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Required languages : English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).

Willing to work in Pandamaran, Port Klang.

Standard 5 working days (Monday – Friday).
