The People Services T2P Manager will manage the full Time-to-Pay (T2P) process for ensuring the seamless execution of processes like Time & Attendance, Payroll calculation, Benefits management. Leading a team of 10+ people, the PS T2P Manager will ensure that the procedures listed below and related to T2P area are executed within the due legal framework and Sanofi's corporate policies, ensuring that processes are perform and deliver under an adequate environment of control and segregation of duties, minimizing the risks associated.
Main Responsibilities :
Management and control of Payroll operation : Salary calculations (hourly, salaried, overtime, Time & attendance), Payroll schedules, Payslip generation and distribution.
Management and control of taxation & Compliance : Local and national tax laws (income tax, social security), Statutory deductions and contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO in Malaysia), End-of-year tax reporting (e.g., EA forms, Form E).
Ensure and control monthly quality of payroll accounting.
Management and control of benefits : Employee Benefits Programs (insurances), Retirement plans, Action plan, Leave entitlements (annual, sick, maternity / paternity).
Vendor Management (Liaising with insurance providers and benefits vendors, invoices and renewals) Employee Communication (Explaining benefits packages, handling claims and queries as Tier 2).
Legal & Regulatory acknowledge, implementation and control : Employment laws (e.g., Employment Act 1955 in Malaysia), Data privacy laws (e.g., PDPA), Labor audits and compliance reporting.
Ensure compliance with Sanofi policies and data privacy regulations.
Oversee the quality of data and proactively address potential issues.
Monitor operational KPIs (Accuracy and Timeliness) and identify improvement areas.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate redundancies.
Participate in global and cross functional projects and process automation initiatives.
Ensure effective adoption of new processes and technologies.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (DTPs) in processes, while identifying and driving opportunities for efficiency or automation.
Follow up his / her Team due attendance of queries (tickets) from employees regarding T2P topics in a timely and quality manner.
Stakeholder and vendor management / engagement.
Manage team growth and ensure Individual Development Plans (IDP) for each team member are updated and communicated properly during career dialogues.
Inspire and align the Team with Sanofi's strategic direction while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum 12-years) in HR, Payroll, Accountability, with at least 4-years of experience in managing HR operations and teams.
Experience leading HR transformation projects is a plus.
Strong understanding of end-to-end Time to Pay processes.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Having knowledge of labor law in the relevant countries is an advantage, accounting knowledge is a plus.
Attention to detail – to avoid costly payroll errors.
Confidentiality – handling sensitive employee data.
Communication – explaining complex policies clearly
Experience with HR tools such as Workday, Payroll and Time Attendance Systems.
Understanding of system integration and data flow management.
Knowledge of payroll control systems and audit tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to adopt, navigate, and leverage payroll automation tools and RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions.
