Executive / Senior Executive Finance

Job Description

Job Purpose :

The Senior Finance Executive / Finance Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations across the AirAsia Move group of entities. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting and compliance. The Senior Finance Executive / Finance Executive will also drive continuous improvement in financial processes, support month-end closing activities, and contribute to the implementation of best practices across the finance function

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting

Performing a full spectrum of GL function (includes inventory, fixed assets) and to maintain a full set of accounts

Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for local and group reporting, ensuring they meet both local and group reporting requirements

Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules

Assist in managing compliance with financial regulations and support internal and external audit processes

Identify opportunities to improve accounting operation efficiency and implement best practices to streamline processes

Review work and provide support to team members, offering guidance and mentorship to enhance their development

Liaise and work closely with key business stakeholders across various regions and functions to address accounting issues and queries

Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (, CPA, ACCA) are preferred

Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience

Fluent in both spoken and written English

Independent, strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with Oracle is preferred
