The Role
SUPA has partnered with a renowned healthcare institution, specializing in medical services, research, and innovation. We are seeking professionals with experience in ultrasound imaging technology for thyroid conditions to join us in developing cutting-edge AI models that transform the future of healthcare.
As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for accurately labeling ultrasound data, refining project guidelines, and ensuring high-quality annotations to enhance AI model performance. Your expertise will drive diagnostic accuracy of thyroid detection in advanced AI solutions.
Upon successfully completing the initial phase of the project, you will be eligible to continue contributing to this project as a Subject Matter expert, based on your performance. You will be prioritized as the Subject Matter Expert for an extended timeline, overseeing project operations and providing advisory support under the guidance of the Project Delivery Manager.
This is a contract role offered on a remote basis.
Responsibilities
- Precisely identify and assign labels to anatomical structures in ultrasound scans, such as the thyroid, thyroid nodules, blood vessels, strap muscles, and trachea.
- Ensure all tasks adhere to the project guidelines and standards set by the client.
- Identify areas where exceptions to the guidelines apply, and based on this, compile clarifying questions to ask the client for project documentation.
- Participate in client calls where necessary to facilitate clear communication, acting as an intermediary between the internal team and the client.
- Manage future participants with regular guidance, consistent and constructive feedback, and host training sessions to deliver high-quality data to the client.
- Training is provided proprietary annotation tools and platform.
Ideal Profile
Hold a medical degree with work experience in radiology or a related field.Technical proficiency in diagnostic medical imaging techniques, particularly ultrasounds, and an openness to learn new annotation technologies and tooling.Excellent attention to detail to identify structures, anomalies, and errors, labeling them with precision.People management experience in building a high-performing team.Fluent in English (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Available for 5 hours per day initially over a 3-day period (between 9 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm, Monday to Friday), with extended hours at a later stage of the project.Aligned with the payment rate of USD15 per hour for your initial project contributions.A high level of commitment is required to oversee the project from inception to completion.Critical thinking skills to clarify guidelines and resolve challenges.Maintain utmost confidentiality and discretion of sensitive data.Access to a computer device and a stable internet connection.What's on Offer?
