    SUMMARY

  • As part of a growing team, dedicated to the Engineering of major CapEx projects inside the structure.
  • The intention is to hire on a fixed term basis first, and extend if performance criteria are met.
  • The Design Engineer is responsible of CAD design works and oversees all aspects around them as detailed in following paragraphs.

    • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Plant and equipment layouting, in 2-D and 3-D; validation with responsible technology managers.
  • Concept design, detail layout on critical zones, clash solving
  • Piping design 3-D routing, isometrics, BOM / MTO, Supporting, General arrangement layouts preparation of tender packages.
  • P&ID drawing, Tags management according to pre-defined guidelines.
  • Data base generation, management and maintenance, mostly piping and instrument related
  • As-built drawings, correction of existing drawings set
  • Occasional surveys on production / construction site, or at suppliers workshop; spec compliance assessment and factory acceptance tests.

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • Engineer degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering environment, in a design function.
  • Thorough knowledge of Autodesk products Auto-cad 2-D and 3-D, plant 3-D, Navisworks Manage, other software considered an asset.
  • Use of Autodesk intelligence tools in the design works.
  • Fluent in English & any other language is a plus such as Malay and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge of MS office.
  • Ability and willingness to understand the mineral wool manufacturing process, pre-requisite for pragmatic and efficient design.
  • Confront the design work with plant reality.
  • Technical and mechanical knowledge associated with the design work.
  • Ability to work according to a schedule / deadline, results and deliverables oriented sense of ownership.
  • Flexibility in tasks perimeter worktime and cope with workload variations
  • Able to deal with multiple cultures and communicate effectively with peers, and other engineers.
