JobBrief :
Acustomer-oriented person, to ensure that restaurant operations runsmoothly. Overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, extendwarm greetings to guest upon arrival and usher them to allocatedseats, and ensure that mis-en place / side station is all properlyset-up before the shift commences. Should also be able to identifyways to decrease the restaurant's operational costs.
Practice effective management skillsand take necessary disciplinary actions to address poor staffperformance. Should be able to achieve exceptional customer serviceand ensure that guests have a pleasant restaurantexperience.
JobResponsibilities :
- Screening, interviewing, hiring,supervision, training and coordination of Food & Beverageemployees.
- Managingstaff's work roster, schedules, performance and resolving anygrievances.
- Conductingregular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whetherproper standards of hygiene and sanitation aremaintained.
- Overseeingfood preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliancewith food health and safety regulations.
- Checking in on dining guests to enquireabout food quality and service.
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring thatall food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequatelystocked.
- Monitoringthe restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstandingbills.
- Reviewingcustomer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customerservice.
- Resolvingcustomer complaints in a professional manner.
- Entry / supervision of entries inPOS.
- Organizing thecleaning bar areas, glasses and equipment.
- Taking reservations, greeting andseating guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests andfellow staff.
- Respondto guest requests in a professional and timelymanner.
- Promote theemployer’s services and facilities to the customers whenappropriate.
- Assist inmaintaining customer services standards set by thehotel.
- Ensure thatcustomers are served in a professional and diligentmanner.
- To perform anyother duties assigned bySuperior.
JobRequirement :
Candidateshould possess a Primary / Secondary School, ProfessionalCertificates, Diploma / Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Food& Beverage Services Management, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management.Preferably at least 3 yearsof related working experience.Preferablyspecializing in F&B / Tourism / Hospitality orequivalent.Good communication skills inEnglish, Malay language for both spoken andwritten.
