RolePurpose :
As the Legal Manager / Senior Manager,you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal guidanceto Finexus Group and its personnel across all internal and externallegal matters. Your duties include ensuring all business operationscomply with applicable laws and regulations, managing litigationand dispute resolution processes, and contributing to thedevelopment and implementation of legal strategies to protect andadvance the company's bestinterests
Responsibilities :
- Provide expert legal adviceand guidance to senior management and department heads on a widerange of legal issues affecting thecompany.
- Interpret laws, regulations, and contractsrelevant to the company’s operations and ensurecompliance.
- Review, draft, & negotiate allcommercial contracts & agreements and other legaldocuments, protecting the company’sinterests.
- You will provide legal guidance &advice on all areas of business operations to managers &members of the company.
- Develop standardized contracttemplates and guidelines for use across theorganization.
- Ensure compliance with theapplicable laws & regulations where the companyoperates.
- Stay updated with changes in laws andregulations where the company operates and advise the company onnecessary adjustments to policies andprocedures.
- Manage & mitigate risks byimplementing policies & procedures in relevant areas ofcompany operations
- Manage & overseetechnology Intellectual Property (IP) matters to protect thecompany’s assets &interests.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement& champion theimplementation.
- Be the legal point-of-contactfor external parties such as auditors, regulating bodies &partners.
- Manage any legal disputes, litigation& arbitration by ensuring company interests are protected.Collaborate with external legal counsel as necessary &represent the company in legalproceedings.
- Establish key relationshipswith authorities, consultants to address legal needseffectively.
- Lead, mentor and develop thelegalteam.
