UCT is looking for a talented Sr Manager Logistics to join us in Malaysia!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise day-to-day performance and progress of the warehouse & logistics (Coordinating with Purchasing & Planning group / QA / Manufacturing department on storage / shortages of materials).
  • Monitor and oversee entire warehouse operations (receiving, kitting, packing and shipment) to ensure shipment schedules and work priorities are met.
  • Optimizing warehouse space. Adopt good housekeeping and overall safety practice to achieve well-organized and safe-working environment.
  • Conduct periodical cycle count and stock taking to ensure the accuracy of the physical stock & system data.
  • Warehouse & logistics resource planning in line with the business requirement.
  • Participate and lead in various external & internal audit.
  • Drive for continuous improvement and efficiency (space, resource, cycle time, cost etc.).
  • Manage and coordinate logistics activities for the Inbound and out bound shipments.

Educational / Certification Requirement :

  • NTC 2 / 3 / Diploma or Degree in any discipline or Supply Chain & Logistics.

    • Experience Requirement :

  • At least 6 years' demonstrated experience in Warehouse operations in manufacturing environment for Diploma or Degree holder.
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in Warehouse operations in manufacturing environment for NTC 2 or 3.
  • Being in a managerial / supervisory role for minimum 2 years in the relevant mentioned industry.
  • Highly organized and detailed.
  • Good leadership skills with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Application and ERP system.
