Production Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTEDOUTCOME

ProcessOptimization

Design, develop, and improve productionprocesses to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimizeresource utilization (Man, Method, Materials, Machine &Environment).

QualityControl

Ensure that production processes meetquality standards and that any deviations are identified andcorrected promptly.

Production Planning

Assist inplanning and scheduling production activities, ensuring thatproduction targets are met in a timely and cost-effectivemanner.

Data Analysis

Collect and analyze production data totrack key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas forimprovement, and report on production performance.

ContinuousImprovement

Implement lean manufacturing principlesand Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes and reduceoperational costs.

EquipmentMaintenance

Coordinate with maintenance teams toensure that machinery and equipment are properly maintained andrepaired to minimizing downtime.

Collaboration

Work with design, procurement, andother departments to ensure that production processes align withcompany goals and customer requirements.

Training

Provide training and support toproduction team members on new equipment, processes, and safetyprotocols.

Safety& Health Compliance

Ensurethat all manufacturing activities are conducted in compliance withhealth and safety regulations. Implement safety measures tominimize risks to workers.
