What you´ll do
- Set up and maintain accurate master data for new products in the procurement and supply chain system, ensuring data integrity for efficient operations
- Review purchase orders and corresponding order confirmations to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and timely processing
- Proactively follow up on shipments, ensuring the receipt of accurate shipping documents and resolving any discrepancies or delays in collaboration with suppliers and logistics teams
- Distribute shipping documents to local logistics teams and external agencies to ensure seamless coordination and clear communication regarding shipments
- Calculate and provide accurate landed costs for goods, supporting business decision-making by factoring in transportation, duties, taxes, and other supply chain costs
- Work closely with various departments, including logistics, finance, and local agencies, to streamline procurement processes and ensure optimal product delivery timelines
- Identify and implement process improvements in the procurement and supply chain workflow, aiming to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance
