Job Description

Appraisal and development assessment of appropriate areas and fields.

Operational (drilling and well intervention) planning and execution for appraisal and development wells.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide direct support to company’s appraisal and development efforts.

Plan and manage cost-effective logging and coring programs.

Carry out near real-time formation evaluation in support of drilling and well intervention operations.

Plan, undertake and manage petrophysical studies for reservoir characterization and volumetric resource assessment

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide direct support to company’s appraisal and development efforts.

Plan and manage cost-effective logging and coring programs.

Carry out near real-time formation evaluation in support of drilling and well intervention operations.

Plan, undertake and manage petrophysical studies for reservoir characterization and volumetric resource assessment

Degree in the relevant field with 5 – 9 years’ experience.

Good knowledge of MWD / LWD, wireline logging tools and formation evaluation techniques.

Good IT and data management skills.

Familiar in evaluating vintage logs.

Good skills in interfacing between G & G, reservoir engineering and drilling.
