Responsibilities : Drive sales and business development for abrasives, tapes and adhesives and occupational health and safety products range specifically to the marine shipyard industry but also include other end user industries such as the oil and gas industry;-Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities in shipyards, marine engineering firms and related sectors as well as other industries to establish and cultivate strong business relationship with customers;-Serve as a technical expert on the application and benefits of abrasives, tapes and adhesives and safety products, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements;-Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and training for customers or potential customers to help customers discover and understand products / services and benefits;-Monitor market trends, competitor products and regulatory changes to adjust sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.-Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sales support;-Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a regular basis.-Attend industry events, trade shows and customer meetings to expand the customer base and keep up-to-date with industry trends;-Prepare and submit quotes, proposals, tenders or any technical documentation including monthly business review reports and other management reports that are required. Requirements : -Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Marine Engineering or related technical field;-3 years experience in sales / business development preferably in marine shipyard industry;-Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and sales skills;-Highly motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets;-A proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills;-Aggressive, highly independent, able to work under minimal supervision and self-organized.
