Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Financial Accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with Financial Reporting standards.
  • Basic understanding of Budgeting processes.
  • Experience with AutoCount accounting software is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Must be able to work Onsite in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records by recording financial transactions in the accounting system (AutoCount), ensuring proper documentation and supporting evidence.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets by collecting and compiling financial data, analyzing trends, and providing input to the budgeting process.
  • Perform bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with internal accounting records, identifying discrepancies, and resolving reconciling items in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns by gathering relevant financial information, calculating tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying payment approvals, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection of revenue.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department by performing clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
