A facilities specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the physical infrastructure and systems of a facility, such as a building and manufacturing facility. To ensure that the facility is operating efficiently, safely, and reliably.
- Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and planning preventative maintenance on facility work.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs
- Able to drive continuous improvement program to improve on safety and facility.
- Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing facility maintenance activities.
- Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems, and building repairs
- Manage and support facility-related projects and expansion
- Responsible for managing the energy consumption of the facility, including monitoring energy use, identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption, and implementing energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Maintain accurate records of facilities activities including repairs, inspections and preventive maintenance schedule.
- Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering
- Technical experience and understanding of facilities equipment and systems, such as HVAC, electrical systems, generators, pumps house, fire protection system, air compressor system, and solar power systems.
