Looking for Supply Chain Assistant Managers for a reputable chemical shared service company based in KL

Your new company

A world market leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with an internationally renowned Shared Service Centre (SSC) based in Kuala Lumpur. This SSC provides various professional services to their business operations across the APAC region. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Supply Chain Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team based in Kuala Lumpur.

Your new role

  • Supporting Director in preparing data analysis, reporting status of countries performance and issues closure
  • Review monthly KPI reporting as well as other necessary data analysis and reporting to support the smooth and efficient operation of ASEAN countries.
  • Work closely with Country Supply Chain Lead to ensure consistent reporting of performance across all functions locallyAssist Director and / or lead mini project assigned, in quality supervision, management and support for direct and indirect reports involved in the project to ensure all scope of delivery and reporting activities are executed accurately in a timely manner
  • Support all Lean / Six Sigma / initiative rollout projects for the ASEAN countries by conducting detailed data analysis to assist in identification of the root cause for operational inefficiencies.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management / Logistics
  • Minimum 5–8 years in SCM / Logistics area with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of supply chain management including customer order management, import / export operations, and transportation operations.
  • Strong knowledge of database tools and data query methods.
  • An expert in Excel usage, including pivot tables, use of functions, and graphing.
  • SAP knowledge in TM, SD and WM System are of advantage
