Oracle Agile PLM Consultant

Job Summary

  • Develop and support enterprise business applications to improve efficiency and capabilities of internal clients, using experience in a variety of information technologies.
  • Research, track and understand new systems to provide leadership in providing solutions to business requirements.
  • Open for Work From Home (WFH) from any other country.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting our client’s Oracle Agile PLM application environment
  • Communicate proactively with key stakeholders
  • Participate in Design, implementation and support of integrations with ERP and MES applications
  • Partner with the client’s Engineering Services and IT Application teams on governance, support and project activities
  • Participate in management of vendors for projects and support
  • Identify new areas on an ongoing basis where Agile PLM solution can be leveraged or current solutions enhanced
  • Perform testing as needed for new applications or in response to internal requests, and maintain documentation
  • Help manage patches, upgrades and add-ons
  • Monitor and report on the performance, growth and the general health of the system
  • Address user issues / concerns in a professional / timely manner and ensure end-user satisfaction

    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Required Strong administration experience with Oracle’s Agile PLM (9.3.x) preferably on Linux or UnixAgile integrations to ERP (SAP / Oracle)
  • DesiredJava / Groovy / programming against the Agile PLM SDK / APIOracle SQL queries, preferable with Agile DB schemaIntegrations with Manufacturing Execution and Learning ManagementAgile upgrades, server installation, performance tuning preferably in AWS hosted environmentData conversion / cleansing, custom reporting on Agile PLM
  • Must be able to work with cross-organizational boundaries to identify opportunities, drive consensus and obtain resolution
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organization skills and strong sense of ownership
  • Ability and interest in training users in tools, processes, procedures
  • Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication and presentation skills

    • Qualifications

  • BA / BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Operations or similar.
  • Minimum 8-10 years total work experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with PLM (experience with Oracle’s Agile PLM 9.3.1 or above preferred)
  • 5+ years of industry experience in high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Experience in cross functional and / or project team leadership
  • Experience selecting and managing external partners (IT outsourcing, consultants etc.)
