- Lead the Treasury Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure that the treasury operations for all countries / entities / business units supported by the SSC would be conducted in an efficient and smooth manner. The SSC activities include payment processing, interacting with banks for operational issues or projects, managing banking documents to facilitate transactions.
- Continue to transform the SSC to improve processes and way of working, and to adapt to the evolving requirements of the business
- Possess a service mindset, and engage frequently with key stakeholders to ensure that the requirements are achieved
- Provide guidance and oversight to a team of 4 members remotely, and also serve as the contact point with Alibaba International Treasury team in China
Treasury Operations for Corporate Cash Management
Manage all aspects of transactional requirements to ensure smooth payments to customers buyers, sellers, vendors) and for internal funding requirementsFinetune and maintain SOP to ensure processes are executed properly and in line with control requirementsPartner with banks and internal teams to resolve any operational issues on a timely basisDrive implementation of banking solutions to improve the Treasury operations; Lead and manage other treasury projects / initiatives as needed.Streamline bank account structures across all group entitiesEstablish liquidity management structure to achieve operation and cost efficiency;Keep up-to-date regulatory changes or payment landscape in the region / local countries that could improve treasury operations. Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting; Master’s degree or CPA / CA / CFA is a plusMinimum 8 years of working experience in Finance and Treasury-related fields including 3 years of experience in a Shared Service CenterSolid understanding of cash management practices and payment landscapes (particularly for ASEAN region), back office activities, Treasury systems, policies and procedures for a global organizationProficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese are required;Strong communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of Management; demonstrated ability to lead a team especially in a virtual settingResults and detail-oriented, team player, strong project management and collaboration skills.Strong analytical skills with structured thinking capabilitiesAbility to excel in a fast paced, highly analytical environment where multi-tasking and short timelines are met with consistent ability to achieve financial accuracyHave strong ethics and integrity; can embrace corporate culture and change; committed; have strong team work spirit
