Raw Material Planner

Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

You will process MRP (Materials Requirement Planning), perform total raw material ordering to supplier and manage following up to ensure that it can be delivered on time.

You will report to Raw Materials Planning Assistant Manager.

You will be based in Bangi.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :

Responsible for all aspects of raw material planning and raw material control.

Communicate with suppliers for PO (Purchase Order) and for time delivery and supply to production line in time.

Control inventory at established level to comply with company policy.

Fine tune MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) work process and parameters.

Participate in new projects along with NPI (New Product Innovation) and Product Management teams in the transition plan.

Summary weekly and monthly report for supplier evaluation and measurement report (Discrepancy shipment and Delivery performance) and control supplier performance as standard level.

Involve monthly S&OP meeting to align SPI (Sale, Purchase and Inventory)

Identify opportunity of inventory reduction and cost saving initiatives.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU :

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field

3 year+ experience in MRP (Materials Requirement Planning)

Experience in Supplier Management is preferred.

Experience in manufacturing multinational environment is preferred.

Self initiated and ability to work effectively to meet the deadline

Good analytical skill and problem solving
