Engineering Manager ensures that Swift’s mission-critical, data-intensive systems—powered by Kafka, advanced data processing pipelines, and Elastic—are fully observable, reliable, and continuously improving. This role combines software and systems engineering to build scalable observability platforms, providing deep visibility into system health, performance, and security while driving automation and efficiency.

As an Engineering Manager focusing on Observability, you will lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining a robust observability ecosystem that supports real-time monitoring, logging, and tracing at scale. Your team will play a pivotal role in enabling proactive issue detection, optimizing system performance, and ensuring end-to-end visibility across distributed architectures. You will work closely with support, product, platform, SRE, and development teams to drive best practices, improve reliability, and accelerate Swift’s payment infrastructure evolution.
