Requirements

• Education : Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Industrial Engineering are preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably within the timber or wood processing industry. Experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and plant layout design is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of timber industry : Strong understanding of the timber industry, including knowledge of wood processing operations, equipment, and manufacturing processes commonly used in the industry.
• Problem-solving abilities
• Communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset.
