UCT is looking for a talented Sr Supervisor, Logistics to join us in Malaysia!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Manage all operations in logistics to ensure that all activities carry out safely, efficiently and on time delivery the shipment to customer promises.
Prepare all outgoing shipping document and generate customer shipment packing list in accordance to the customer specification requirement & compliance with Export regulations.
Make critical decision and liaise with forwarder / purchaser / planner / warehouse / program to ensure smooth transaction for inbound shipment.
Liaising with freight forwarders closely to resolve outgoing shipment delays, discrepancies & damage.
Suggest areas for cost savings and process improvements related to transportation, packaging and logistics.
Maintain accurate filing system for all order related and shipping status documentations for internal & external audit purpose.
Other ad-hoc shipping duties as assigned by immediate reporting Manager.
On time Delivery to Customer - arrange the resource and make sure to fulfill the packing and deliver to forwarder on schedule per shipping instruction by Sales.
Internal training - work instruction training, the use of the ERP system related training, safety training.
System maintenance and update - Maintain material in / out information timely and accurately updated in the ERP system.
Performance management - Make warehouse personnel performance appraisal.

Educational / Certification Requirement :

Diploma in logistic or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing a team of warehouse assistants, proficiency in warehouse report.

Experience Requirement :

Work in fast pace manufacturing environment.

With forklift experience and license preferred.

Basic knowledge of PC skills.

Knowledge of logistics compliance.

Hardworking and a team player.

Advance Skill : - SAP knowledge.
